Where it all began...

The seed was planted way back in 1993 when Scott was watching his uncle and cousin build a new bathroom for his parents. He was fascinated in the whole process that turned a shabby, old, rundown bathroom into a spectacular, highly functional modern space.
 

In 1994 when Scott was in year 10 he decided to do a week's work experience for a tile shop in Bronte. From that moment on he knew he wanted to be a floor and wall tiler and eventually a builder. In 1996 Scott started a Floor and Wall Tiling Apprenticeship. Straight out of his apprenticeship Scott set up his first business Stiling Tiling.

His high skill set meant he was always in demand wherever he was. Vast amounts of traveling in Australia and Europe enabled Scott to gain priceless experience tiling some of the most extraordinary apartments, houses, chateaus and castles you could ever imagine.
 

After returning home to Australia Scott combined his years of experience with his extensive skill sets and the result was the birth of Taylored Home Living!
